Only those who have proven that they adhere to the strictest requirements in design, installation and maintenance of Aquascape Designs, Inc products can become Certified Aquascape Contractors (CAC). We are among only 11 contractors in the state of Colorado to have become a CAC. What is a CAC? Our philosphies on pond building are actually quite simple. We believe in working with Mother Nature and NOT against her. What exactly does that mean? Well, what that means is we use only natural products in our ponds. We do NOT use any chemicals or concrete in the installation or maintenance of our ponds. When we design your little (or large) piece of paradise, we take into account you existing landscape, to include the design, layout and existing elements. All of the products we use are completely natural and work to maintain and balance your ecosystem so you don't have to. Gone are the days of using test tubes and chemicals to balance your ponds pH, and alkalinity levels. To have clear and healthy water you need to have five main elements. These are (1) mechanical and biological filtration, (2) liner and underlayment, (3) rocks and gravel, (4) plants and fish, and (5) bacteria. By including all five of these elements in your pond, your maintenance time is reduced to about 5 minutes a week depending on landscaping and other elements.
